Concerns about Ethernet connectivity while upgrading to Roon One/Titan (ref#J3WPKT)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· None of the above quite fits

None of the above quite fits

· None of these quite match

Tell us what's going on

· Upgrading from NAS to Roon One/Titan
I am currently running my ROON server (which I love!) on a QNAP NAS, connecting the server via Ethernet to a Nordost QNET 7 audiophile switch, which in turn is connected via Ethernet cable to a LINN Klimax DSM3.
I was considering replacing the NAS with a ROON One or Titan, but I just found out that it has no Ethernet out, only USB for audio out. If this is the case, I would lose the benefit of the QNET 7, which imporves sound quality considerably.
What would you suggest?
Thanks for your help!

· Ethernet

Both the Nucleus One and the Titan have an ethernet port so that they can (must) be connected to your home network. They will use RAAT to send audio to other Roon endpoints that are connected to the network.

Connect that Ethernet port to your Nordost QNET 7 audiophile switch and everything should work just as it does now.
