I have written two presets one for stereo tracks and one for multi-channel. Currently I have to manually change the preset before I play an album. When playing a playlist I potentially have to change it for every track; not an ideal situation. I think the procedure should be able to determine what options to run automatically.
In order to work the track metadata would need to be available to the DSP Processor and I don’t know if that is practically possible. It would need to know the number of channels of the playing track and skip steps accordingly. Other metadata would also be useful within the processor; I am thinking music formats (PSM, DSD, etc) and possibly genre.
My screen image shows how I would envisage it working, with the option for multiple conditions and outcomes of Continue (with the filter) or Exit.
