Connecting ROCK to router or mesh satellite

I’m wondering what is the best low noise connecting INTEL NUC ROCK and streamer. My router is located downstairs where my iNUC ROCK is wired directly. However, my streamer is wired to a mesh satellite upstairs.

Is it better that way or better plug the iNUC ROCK directly to the satellite upstairs since there are two available ethernet ports.

Will it be less noisy or more accurate since they are almost connected physically?

You are set up fine, especially if it is working. The Roon Server PC should, imho, always be on ethernet to a switch or the router. There should not be any Wifi hops between the router and the RoonServer.
