I have written a script to copy REW EQ filters to Roon PEQ presets. It successfully adds a new Parametric Equalizer preset to the saved presets in the “endpoint_parametric_equalizer_presets” json file under C:/Users/“yourusername”/AppData/Local/Roon/Database/Registry/Core/ but Roon refuses to read the preset from the file probably due to some internal security check.
Can anyone help? Better yet, can Roon support add a feauture to import REW EQ filters? There are 31 slots and it takes good part of an hour to manually fill up these filters.
The zip file contains the HTML script, a sample REW EQ filters txt file and the correctly adjusted for Roon freq, gain, q limits “configurable generic PEQ” setting for REW:
