Creating a simple playlist

Hello

This may be a really dumb question, but for the life of me can’t seen to make it work. I wanted to create a simple play list that included a group of artists. For instance I want a play list that includes Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Wishbone Ash and Camel. I tried selecting artists but focus didn’t see to allow me to pick a group of artists. I tried albums then focus. Options there seem a bit more promising and I tried composer and performer. For some reason though I could find band names like Dire Straits only Mark Knopfler. There must be an easy way to do this. What am I missing?

What are you trying to do? Create a playlist and add artists to the playlist?

Yes, I want to select an artist or group/band and add them to a playlist. I would then play the playlist on shuffle and the artists/band in the playlist would have tracks from the albums they are on played

I go to the artist page, and click the 3 dot menu and select add to playlist. This will add all the tracks you have in your library to a playlist.
