Daymé Arocena: Cuban Music Breakout. Part 1

In celebration of International Jazz Day, we had the privilege of speaking to the Havana born and raised 28-year-old singer, choir conductor, and composer Daymé Arocena about her journey and Cuba’s rich music history.

Check out part 1 of the interview on our blog, and stay tuned for future interviews and music content!

A few days ago I was listening to a Gilles Peterson Cuban compilation. Great album that she is on too.
Thanks for the blog. Look forward to more…

I have Tidal and Roon and I can find this playlist on the Tidal app, but not on Roon! I’ve looked very thoroughly and it’s not there. It’s very frustrating because it’s a Roon curated playlist.

I agree it’s hard to find directly in Roon’s view of Tidal (@kevin fyi)

I added to faves in Tidal and got it that way and it looks like this in Roon

Thank you Nick. That’s very helpful. I’ve noticed it with other albums and playlists too.
