Is this cable just intended as an upgrade to the cable that comes with the LPS-1 or is it needed because the cable that comes with the LPS-1 doesn’t work with either rendu model? The Uptone site implies that their stock cable should work, so I’m not sure why one would need the DC-4 unless it is intended as an upgrade. And if it is intended as an upgrade, what about it makes it better than the stock cable?
Hi Uptone and Sonore are completely different companies.
The DC cable that comes with the LPS-1 definitely does work with both Rendu models.
The DC-4 might be better built and might be a sonic upgrade (I found it was in my system but everyone else’s mileage may vary).
It’s just an option provided by Sonore.
