I’ve been ignoring a lot of PMs and emails about Deezer integration from all the usual suspects, so it’s probably best I just clarify the state of the union here…
Things were moving with Deezer… Earlier this year, we were in touch with their Chief Product Officer, VP of Customer Engagement, and Strategic Partnership Manager. They seemed pretty eager and asked for a ton of information. We provided all the answers in late February and signed an NDA.
Unfortunately, nothing has moved forward at all since then. Unsure if it was just delays followed by COVID-19 happening, but this project is stuck in Deezer’s hands right now.
Given the enthusiasm on their end, I’m hoping it’ll pick up some speed as soon as their schedule allows. COVID-19 isn’t helping and the complete radio silence isn’t encouraging, but yah… these things take time.
