Discography fails to load on 2.70 (build 1665)

I have been getting this intermittently for a couple of weeks and usually a restart of Roon server solves is, but after the last release it has got worse. A restart and then a reboot of ROCK failed to fix it.

Last time I saw something like this it was a Cloudflare issue, but a restart of server fixing it doesn’t sound like a network thing.

Storage is accessible because when I switch overview I get recommendations from my library and can play from the library.

Also the error message doesn’t fit in the phone screen.

Hi, @Johnny_Maelstrom, thank you for the report. The QA team was not able to reproduce this one locally. Does the problem still exist on your end? If yes, any other artists except for Modest Mouse affected?

Unfortunately, I succumbed to the need for music and rebooted until it worked.

It has happened several times and each time with a different artist. Some artists like Modest Mouse I have my own files, some are Qobuz only.

I’ll send more next time it happens. Thanks for taking a look at this.

This loss of Discographies (for all artists) has just happened to me this morning (about 08:00 CET on the 20th June).

First, going to an artists Discography page would display the jellyfish, then the Discography tab would disappear after opening an Artist page, and finally, it simply wasn’t there when I opened subsequent Artist pages.

Running EA Build 1668 with Qobuz.

Tried rebooting my ROCK/NUC and logging out/back in to Qobuz without success.

It lasted about 10 minutes and has now returned to normal operation.

Perhaps the logs might shed some light on this?

Can I get some logs for the support team or can they gather the evidence themselves?

I assume they can do it themselves, but if not then can the support team tell me what to do and I’ll help them.

They should be able to pull the logs themselves - if they can’t reach your Roon Server, they will ask you to upload them to an upload location in Roon Labs.

Today I turn on the MacBook, it resumes from sleep, Roon is still running, I click on the artist and this is what I saw.

So I restarted Roon app and got this, which has been waiting for 5 minutes.

I clicked on Home. Navigated to the artist and clicked on Discography and get back to the same point with no Discography displayed.

So I found another artist and got this:
