I use Roon for a week, but what surprise me is that Roon does not have a sensible way to discover new music other than Recommendations sections in band, album, genre, etc. pages. The problem is, that what I’ve learned from my short experience and from this community, that Roon recommendations system leaves much to be desired and works rather poorly.
What makes Roon stand out in my opinion is the Focus option for sorting my library. Although there is still a lot of room for improvement, in my opinion it is quite unique. Especially since it allows to browse music based on multiple genres.
With such fantastic functionality, it would make a lot of sense to use it to browse music also from outside of my library, i.e. from whole Tidal or Qobuz music libraries. That would be a great opportunity to discover new music.
