At the moment we can only have the embedded file genre tag(s) on or off. I’d like to see the ability to prefer Roon genres, but to show the file genres if Roon can’t find any. Thanks!
Config dependent, Roon currently combines yours and its own if you ask it to, eliminating duplicates in the process. Are you saying you’d prefer it completely ignores your file metadata except where their records come up empty?
Yup, that would be ideal for me. I hit the genre tagging of my collection with a very blunt hammer a couple of years ago & would ideally only like to use them if there are no other (presumably more accurate) genre tags available.
