Anyone with an NT-07?
Does your power supply hum?
I don’t mean through the speakers, just the device itself.
Update:
I went to a another dealer to check his NT-07 for hum. Same thing as with mine.
So I returned the NT-07 and replaced it with an Aurender.
This is interesting.
I tried Lumin U2 last year and return right away because of unbearable hum.
I ended up buying Aureder N200 by hated the SW so much that started to look for replacing it with something else.
This is how I stumbled on Luxman NT-07.
It absolutely destroyed N200, the background is much blacker and I clearly heard micro details that were not there before.
The funny part is that I started to freak out about the hum after I learned that this is essentially Lumin design, but there was no hum whatsoever.
Fair enough, I am just sharing my personal impressions.
Lumin U2 was unusable in MY setup due to the hum that literally caused the stand vibration.
Luxman’s power supply seems to be an upgrade over U2, it is dead quiet and overall sound quality is the best I’ve heard in MY setup (including heavy hitters like Innuos Zen NG and Grimm MU1).
