Older songs are much softer. Do Tidal streams carry necessary data to allow sound leveling?

I tried for a bit and got strange song not found errors.

Can Roon sound leveling work on Tidal?

Yeah, volume leveling works with TIDAL + Roon. They provide us with the R128 loudness measurements when we grab the song for playback.
