I’m trying to use roon arc to download some 100+track playlists for use when I’m off line. The download is very slow using Wi-Fi .is there anyway to do the download via usb from my innuos server to speed things.
Loving the new Roon ARC.
However, it’s very slow to download music. I tried downloading about 6GB of music and its still not done after several hours. I’m at home and my WiFi is pretty fast (400+ Mbps), so I expected it download in just a few minutes from my Roon Core. I’m wondering if the downloads are being routed through Roon Labs servers. Sounds unlikely, but it might explain it because my internet upload speed is only 11Mbps.
I’m seeing if Roon can replace the Apple Music app. I tested by copying 21G, this took over 5 hours. I think I see the download stopping unless the app is in the foreground. Even then it’s painfully slow.
My core is a Mac Mini M1 connected over the house Ethernet (gigabit)

No you can’t use USB and yes it’s very very slow, I just posted a thread the other day showing how slow it is compared to another price of software on the same device downloading the same albums.
