I was thinking about the many incidents around my dadâs cars as I was growing up; the breakdowns, he constantly ran out of petrol ( in interesting places).
But as they also needed constant fettling and repair, and I was keen to help, we also spent a lot of time together. As heâs gone now that time with me pressing the brake pedal whilst he bled the brakes, âis it on now?â switch pressing etc were great times together we wouldnât have had if the sodding cars actually worked
