Question about this setting in Roon. My understanding is Roon scans each file and album for volume leveling purposes. Wouldn’t it make sense then for .dsf files to have gain applied in a similar manner instead of a slider? There are programs that convert dsf to PCM and they analyze the files first and provide a consistent gain boost to the album depending on the program material. As each album is different there is no one size fits all that the slider provides. Is this something that’s possible for Roon to do?
