Hello Everyone,
For the first time, today’s release includes support for steaming over Airplay 2.
This brings first-class Airplay support to Roon, including Apple products like HomePods and AppleTV, as well as many popular Airplay devices from a wide range of partners. Roon will now properly support stereo pairs of HomePods (addressing them as a single stereo device) and in many cases configuration tasks (such as entering passcodes) should be streamlined. We also expect full backwards compatibility for all Airplay devices.
We would ask everyone running Early Access to test any Airplay devices in your home, even if you don’t normally stream over Airplay, including use of zone grouping (in Roon) and pairing of HomePods or other Airplay devices.
If have any issues with Airplay devices, be sure to confirm you’re running Build 1410 and let us know what device you’re streaming to, along with firmware versions and what kind of errors you’re seeing.
For ARC, improvements centered on performance of voice search. Transport functions (play, previous, next) should be more reliable on iOS and Android. We also addressed an issue where starting Android Auto could lead to showing a black screen.

Installation
Cores, remotes, and ARC installations already running earlyaccess should update automatically. If you need to reinstall, the latest earlyaccess builds can always be found at the following links.
