Hey Everyone,
Today we are releasing a hotfix build that addresses 2 issues raised in the community over the last week: KKBOX login issues and a blank Roon UI on macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 beta.
Since around October 23, some KKBOX users haven’t been able to sign in to KKBOX in Roon, or have seen “Failed to log in”. KKBOX changed how its service checks incoming requests, and some of the requests Roon sent no longer passed those checks. This release updates how Roon talks to KKBOX to match KKBOX’s current requirements, and sign-in and session refresh work again.
Some users testing the macOS Sequoia 15.8.2 beta have reported that the Roon window stays blank after launch. This release changes how Roon draws its interface on macOS. When Roon detects that the usual drawing method isn’t available, it switches to a different one so the window displays normally on those systems. Macs where the usual method works are not affected. If you are running a macOS 15.8.2 beta and still see a blank window after updating, please let us know on the Community site, and include your Mac model and macOS build number.
Thank you for your continued support.
