Discovered a very easy work around to edit metadata for my compilations with various artists and songs today. Here is how to change the track numbers to a song title, add artist name after song title, add date, genre, etc.
Covert flac file to aiff file and put on your desktop. I use a free and fast converter - Media Humane for Mac OS. Import file to iTunes music folder. Super easy to edit all fields it iTunes. Make sure and check compilations in iTunes editor to avoid a duplicate file.
