Editing track as being another performance of the same song/composition

It doesn’t look as if roon has identified any of those tracks as compositions. I don’t have your box set but there are several performances of “Old Man Mose” on both Qobuz and Tidal. If you click the three dots by the performances can you “go to composition” from any of them?

Tony, I thought of that, but supplying composer credits to an unidentified album should surely (?) produce a composition. So why didn’t Roon produce the connection then?

There are more things in heaven and (Roon), Horatio…

I find this a lot. Adding composition credits often does the trick but not always. I don’t know what criteria roon is using to identify a composition. In those cases I usually find the composition on Quobuz and add another album. That often sorts it and I get a composition id that way. But then half the compositions on the new album are unidentified and I add a few more albums . . . You get the idea.

Fantastic, didn’t know about this! Works fine!

I just wonder whether there is a fix for this after two year? I am having the same problem a lot.

I just merged two separate compositions in a similar way as I would merge albums and this solved the problem. Hope this helps.
