I love the music by Agustín Barrios… I can recommend three albums, all three by artists from Italy:

Then there’s this recently released EP by the fabulous and very young Djibouti guitarist Raphaël Feuillâtre… I really hope there is a Barrios Mangoré album in the making…

Tobias_Imbach - love the Afro-Peruvian album. It turned me on to Susana Baca, who sings in the same tradition. She has a number of albums out, all of them good. I’d start with this one and one called Espiritu Vivo to give her a try.
