Hello. I see in my iPhone ROON app, under Settings, Set-Up, there is choice to “Enable Lock Screen Controls”. Cool. Thanks! Could you please consider adding the same for ARC via iPhone? I do not have Apple Car Play. When using ARC, I would like the option for the screen to remain active. This is a safety issue (yes one should not use the phone while driving). In Amazon Music Car Mode (and LiveOne), they have the choice to keep the phone active. This wears on the phone battery. However, less time reinitiating the iPhone is a safety improvement. (Note: I have also submitted a similar request to Apple Music.). Thanks! Barry
Hello. Catch. I am looking for the option of ARC to not go to Lock Screen. Always stay active (like Amazon Music and LiveOne offer). Roon iPhone has the Enable Lock Screen Controls in beta. I have this enabled. Not really sure if it works yet on iPhone - but the choice is there. Barry
I kind of thought so but the title mentioned the lock screen controls and I wasn’t sure. And you mentioned the Enable Lock Screen Controls option in the regular remote, but all this does is enabling the controls on the lock screen.
However, the regular remote has a separate option in Settings > Setup, “Keep screen awake”, so I suppose this is what you might want in ARC in addition to the lock screen controls?
You would probably love to have the problem I have 
When my ARC is in the foreground, the phone never locks or sleeps. I hate it and am sure it’s a bug, but haven’t been able to find out why it does this seemingly only to me, and Roon Labs hasn’t fixed it (and probably also don’t know why it happens. For the above screenshot with the lock screen controls I had to put ARC in the background to make the phone lock).
Until the feature exists, you might be interested in attempts to prevent the screen from sleeping with a shortcut. It does not seem to be super simple but I found a possible start here with the iPhone shortcuts feature:
