Enable Rock SSD Trim? [resolved: already supported]

Hi, i have bought a NUC7i7BNH, Samsung 960 evo 250GB M.2 SSD and 8 GB Ram today. I have successfully installed ROCK. I’m awaiting the arrival of a new 8TB USB drive for my music files, i should get this in a week, and i can start copying my audio files and build my library.

The only thing i can’t find an answer to is SSD Trim, does ROCK enable trim, or do i have to do something to enable it?

Cheers

Steve

@support any information you can provide on the SSD Trim question?

I also plan on using a USB 3.1 Lacie HDD plugged into the NUC, does rock have drivers to get the best out of USB 3.1? or am i better to install windows ?

Cheers

Steve

TRIM is already supported.

USB 3.1 / Thunderbolt is not supported yet.

Thanks Danny,

is there anything the user has to do to enable trim?

no, it has been enabled on all Linux systems since about 2013.
