I just wanted to get rid of my noisy PC running all the time and spending much more power than Nucleus One.

The “noisy PC” is an audiophile fallacy. I measured the output of a decent DAC (Topping D70) connected directly through USB to a PC when idle and when running at 100% CPU. I also connected it to a gaming laptop, both when idle and in a game. The output was the same as when connected to a Pi streamer, and consistent with AP analyzer measurements.

If you are still concerned about computer noise, all you need is a good DAC and maybe a streamer. A Nucleus has other advantages, but offers nothing in terms of audio quality.
