I’ve got the same issue … the only thing that actually helps is restarting the Roon core device.
well, another thing that helps is software updates by Roon such as Roon 2.0.9 now.
I have this problem. I have cores running on 4 machines, 3 of which have the problem. I’ve rebooted each of the affected cores and no luck resolving it. I’ve restarted my modem/router and no luck. I’ve checked that my firewall is letting Roon through (yes it is). I’m not sure about ipv6.
Those with the trouble connect over an eero mesh network. They include:
Core #1 = linux build, gigabyte mb, i3 cpu.
Core #2 = linux build, gigabyte mb, i3 cpu.
Core #3 = MacBook Pro, macOS Monterey 12.6.5
Core #4 = Synology NAS 420+ works fine
Along with this issue, the two linux machines do not update in real time, although it says it is. I have to force a re-scan of each folder I’m using.
A relatively recent Roon 2.0.something still had this issue.
