Ethernet connection dropping between Roon and Cambridge CXN V2 (ref#37E2QM)

Description of Issue

I am using ROON to connect to a Cambridge CNC V2 but the ethernet connection keeps dropping. If I re-seat the cable it re-establishes. Not sure if this an issue with ROON or the Cambridge streamer,

Ethernet - can’t see the Router model but it the latest model supplied by my Telco

I have moved this post to the Network section where others using a Mac Core and a Cambridge CXN V2 (I updated the tiitle) may have suggestions.

  1. Who is your ISP?
  2. How is the Mac Core and CXN connected to the network, directly to the router or with a switch in between them?
  3. Have you tried replacing each unit’s Ethernet cable?
  4. Which cable gets reseated and working again, the Mac or the CXN?
  5. Have you tried using a different Ethernet port on the router or switch?
