I have my RPi set up with a display, and I like being able to switch between zones directly on the screen. I also have a remote connected to the same RPi. Is it possible to add a feature where the zone controlled by the remote follows (ie, is the same as) the zone that is being shown and controlled on the display?

That feature is already integrated. Tap in the display on the name of the zone, and you can choose a different zone.

@Frank_M What you reference only changes the “display” control zone not the “OSMC/FLIRC” remote control zone.
What he is asking is for the “OSMC/FLIRC” remote control zone to follow the “Display” control zone setting.
Or maybe an option to have this happen?
Either a toggle on the settings page of the display to “sync” the display and remote control zones or a toggle in the webui to have it sync? Or a “remote” icon on the display for the remote so you can select the remote control zone similar to how the display control zone is changed?
This is actually a good idea… I think. Let me ponder on it.
But it should definitely behind a switch, like @bearFNF suggests, because I can imagine that this is something not everyone wants.

That makes a lot of sense. Agree that individual setups might be better one way or the other. Look forward to learning if it’s possible!
