The Android and iphone apps have fewer options than the Windows app. Under Settings → Library there is only “Library Maintenance”, “background audio analysis speed” and “On-demand audio analysis speed”. “Import Settings”, Unmerging options, “Genre mappings”, and “Skipped files” are missing. The “three dot” menu on tracks is missing “view file info”, “export”, and “edit”. The same menu on Albums is missing “Edit”. Has it always been like this? We can’t fully manage Roon from phones?
Yes and yes. There are existing feature requests, see here
The phone is considered mainly a playback control device, with some limited edit features that are particularly useful during playback, like favoriting.
It’s mainly a screen real estate issue. It would probably be possible to redesign everything for the phone size and fit it all in there, but it would be a lot of work (as opposed to tablets with a screen size of at least 8 inches)
