Does anyone know if it’s possible to use the R7’s screen as a Roon display, and how to accomplish that?
The R7 is Roon Ready but in Roon mode (Fiio Roon app) has a basic screen with track title and artist and cover art, I’d like a full Roon display where e.g. I could show lyrics (similar to what Apple Music or TIDAL can do).

The LS50 Wireless IIs have an analog input (AUX in 3.5mm format) that is digitized from main unit and transmitted to second unit. They do not have a USB audio input, but do have Toslink and S/PDIF Coax.
It looks like the LSX IIs do have USB audio as well as analog and Toslink, but have dropped the S/PDIF.
Can you run Chrome and point it at Roon’s web display URL?

The Roon Remote on both my FiiO R9 and FiiO M11 Plus works just like it does on any Android phone. Whatever features one gets when using Roon Remote on an Android phone one gets when one using the Roon Remote app on the R7 (and the R9 and M11 Plus). Lyrics will show whenever the lyrics are available in the Roon desktop app. Roon is quite lame and very finicky when it comes to lyrics but that’s a topic for another thread.
