Having begrudgingly renewed Roon for a year again, I’m inclined to share a personal frustration on a missing feature:
The ability to Focus by “Your Rating” instead of editorial rating.
If “Your Rating” is purely cosmetic, what is the point? Why have I invested all my time in rating albums if I can’t use it to find albums by MY rating.
Currently you can only focus on “Rating” which, in effect, is the editorial rating.
Vote up this 10-year old feature thread if it frustrates you too.
Please February 2026 be the month this happened 
2026 is the year our prayers get answered. I feel it in my bones.
I read this initially as “got answered” and was really excited.

As a workaround I tag my albums 1-5 star so I can filter on my own ratings. This should be baked into the Roon ratings focus as user or editorial ratings. I remain hopeful that the Roon gods will hear our cries in 2026 and have mercy.
This is my workaround for now. I’m giving all the albums I’ve added 5 stars. After listening to them, I’ll give them their actual star rating. That way, when I filter by ‘5 stars’ (or ‘exclude’), I can see the albums I haven’t rated yet (or the ones I’ve rated myself). [I don’t know english, so I used deepl to translate this]
