[Fixed in #1595] Matrix Audio Airplay stops working with 1584

After updating to build 1584, playback to my streamer (Matrix Audio Element X2) via Airplay no longer works. It finds the device, although it seems to have trouble with the model name (it shows the generic “(Model)” after the device name before it’s enabled).

Playback to other AirPlay devices seems to be fine (Devialet Phantom and Devialet Mania). Playback via RAAT to the same device still works fine, but AirPlay is borked.

Roon appears to be playing and shows info as if it’s playing to the device, but no sound comes out and the playback bar never advances, it just stays stuck at 0:00.

My Roon server is running on an M2 Mac Mini. I obviously restarted all the devices and checked for firmware updates.

Hi, @David_Roberts, we’ve released an update recently which might help to resolve this this issue. Could you please update to the latest EA build and check if things got better or not?
