I’ve just discovered ‘Flemish’ in the list of languages in Live Radio.
People in the Flanders region of Belgium speak Dutch, not Flemish.
It is not even a dialect: people in the west and the east part of Flanders speak a totally different dialect which is more often than not incomprehensible for civilized people like me in the central part of Flanders.
For Americans : Earth- Europe - Western-Europe - Belgium with capital Brussels - Flanders.
Flanders has approximately the same population as Indiana, the same population density as New Jersey, and the same size as Connecticut. We are not worthy of our own language.
