Format internal RoonOS storage to exFAT

As I understand by default the internal storage will be formatted to EXT4. My problem, I want to use my iPad to buy music and store it over the LAN to my internal NUC storage. However, my iPad has only reading rights, no writing rights to the storage. Now I want to reformat my drive to exfat in order to access and write with my iPad. First, am I doing this right, and how can I do it? Thanks.

Is the Nuc running Rock?

Yes 10 char

Or how else do I get writing rights with my iPad? How do people on MacOS do it?

The file system used is EXT4, but is not relevant.

I prefer using Android for what you want to do, but it is possible with iOS devices.

I’ve used this app before (ignore the message of the trial, I’ve used it for several years and haven’t paid a thing)

You can add the Roon Rock SMB share via the service tab on the bottom of the screen. It also has access to the iOS devices internal storage.

Copy/paste write speeds are slow (slow on Android as well).

There are other apps, but this one works as you need it to.

Thank you. Will try

Thanks. Problem solved. I used Readdle, as I had used it before. Now it is working and I have writing rights. Great thanks.
