I have the Formation Audio as the only Formation unit connected by digital out to a Lyngdorf TDAI 2200.

Roon works flawlessly, and was the main reason for bying the device. I am also using AirPlay to stream TV sound from ATV and Spotify + Tidal.

The sound is very relaxed, yet detailed and a joy to listen to.

As others have mentioned, the Bowers Home app lacks features. Lets hope the app evolves fast.

Couldn’t agree more, we really enjoy the Formation suite here. Very flexible usage as a standalone streamer/transport, and for those going whole home and want to use a turntable. It’s going to take a while before it overtakes Sonos in popularity though.
