Fresh Roon Install to Qnap external SSD problem

Hello
I am trying to do an installation of Roon to my Qnap TS-453A NAS. I have 4 HDDs installed and an external 250Gb external SSD formatted in Ext4 also installed. I named the SSD ROONSERVER when formatting. It appears along with the other 4 HDDs in FileStation.

My problem is that when I go to install Roon Server from the App Center it only gives me the option to install to one of the HDDs. The option to install to the SSD is not available. Is there any way to do this or should I just install the Core to a HDD and then tell it to install the database to the SSD? I was hoping to put both the Core and database on the SSD. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

The app itself can only be installed on internal drives. But you can choose afterwards in the interface of the Roon Server app on qnap where the database should be stored. Then you can select the ssd and use it for Roon‘s database.

Thank you VERY much for your quick and informative reply. Just what I need to know!
