For sale, we have a Meridian Ultra DAC and matching 857 Power Amplifier. This is a unique Meridian system as it takes the technology out of the DSP speakers and implements its digital pioneering technology into a DAC to use with your existing non-Meridian speakers.
This has been our shop floor system for some time now and we’ve decided to move it onto a new home to be loved elsewhere. Fitted with the ID41 streaming card, you can use Roon to stream directly or take a digital feed from your existing CD, streamer, or even television to benefit from their proprietary technology!
The 857 is an extremely high-quality power amplifier capable of driving exceptionally difficult loads. After all, it had been used regularly on our Bowers and Wilkins 800 D3! Rated at 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms, or bridgeable to use as a monoblock to achieve 1000 watts into one channel into 8 ohms!
