There are two albums “In The Beginning” by bands called Genesis. One a once off psychedelic LA based band and the other the more well known British band. Roon recognises both and has a bio and track listing for each, but the LA album appears in the discography for the British band.
That’s just bizarre. It seems the LA version was first, so did the UK Genesis rip them off?

The title of the original release in England in 1969 was From Genesis to Revelation. In The Beginning was the title put on a reissue in the U.S. in the mid 70s. Not sure how they were allowed to do that if there was already a band by that name with an album by that name!
