I have a problem. Roon’s equaliser is great. I love the sound of Roon itself and I think my streamers (Node N130 and Wiim Pro Plus) sounds better when used as Roon end point but using equalizer in Roon is another awesomeness! Some digital equalisers I have tried ads distortion and in ex. if add bass couple dB up the bass detail is gone. Not the case with Roon EQ. The bass is multi textured, detailed - magic!
So why is that a problem? Well… Roon is expensive! And I would like to achieve this for every source. TV, CD, music streaming services etc. Can you recommend such a not expensive hardware that do the trick in digital domain? MiniDSP? Did someone compared MiniDSP to Roon equaliser?
