Hard disk connected to my dac (nad c658)

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

IMAC

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

IMAC and NAD connected to ethernet (both by cables)

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

NAD c658 connected to ethernet. Hard disk with music files directly connected with NAD c658 by usb.

Roon recognises the NAD c658 but the Roon software cannot access the hard disk which is directly connected to my NAD c658. Is there a solution for this ?

Additional question: how is it possible that Roon plays dsd files to my NAD c658 while the NAD c658 is not capable of playing dsd files ?

TEXT GOES HERE

To use it in roon the device would have to share it to external applications, which it doesn’t, it’s only seen as a source in the bluos app.
So you can’t use it in roon.
