Have Export Save All Versions of Albums

Currently if you have two versions of an album and try to export them, the export function overwrites one with the other during the export process and you end up with just one of the versions. The other is lost.

It would be very useful if the Export process would see that there are two versions and export both versions keeping them separate.

Bonus points if Export could also export version information tags [remastered, HiRez etc.] with the folder/files so that you could tell the versions apart.

Why would this be helpful? I was hoping to get out of the file/metadata grooming business altogether by putting my files into a Roon Organized folder and then after Roon had done it’s magic, exporting all the files out to a nice, clean, fully-organized set of folders. If I were to do this now, I would lose many versions of albums.

The Export function does need to be revisited and reworked. As far as I’ve found Roon does not write much of any meta-data into the files. It keeps it all within its own database.

It looks like disabling the “clean up duplicates” option isn’t working properly. I’ll get a ticket raised.

Thanks @Herb_Hagermoser for flagging this one.
