This is probably as stupid question; but here we go.
If i’ve enabled volume leveling to auto. Is it still advisable to enable headroom correction as it seems a bit redundant now. Most of the time i get minus DB for volume leveling and minus 3DB for headroom correction.
What’s your reasoning for entering a headroom adjustment?
Enable clipping indication and add headroom adjustment only if detected.
No you don’t need both if you set the LUFS to a great value then default to give you enough headroom if using DSP. They recommend to use either or but if not using DSP you don’t need headroom management.
