Help setting up ARC in new Ionic 6

Folks:
I’ve got a new electric car and learning how to do everything is overwhelming. I’d love to get Roon ARC going so I’m looking for someone who has done this with an Ionic 6 to give me a few pointers. Suggestions and resources (e.g., a “How To” manual) would likely be helpful as well.

I have an android phone in my Ioniq 5. Once android auto is connected, Roon ARC is visible as well. Android auto only shows apps that are android auto compatible. Roon ARC is, so it should be visible right away. It’s possible to exclude apps from being visible but if you didn’t change this setting in the android auto menu of your phone, it should be visible. I use Aawireless by the way, and this works great. If you use apple carplay I can’t help you.

Yes, I have an iPhone 12 Mini, so I probably have to use CarPlay.

Almost a year now and I still have no Roon ARC in my car. This is a great example of the “service” that Roon Labs provides customers.

Thanks to the Roon crew too for jumping in there!

This is a thread in the user discussion area, which normally isn’t being monitored by Roon staff. You should go to Support and click the Get Help button.

I suppose someone should have pointed this out 10 months ago.
