I have downloaded Amphetamine from App Store. How do I launch it?? Not sure how I use it. So far not much from the software.

You have to start a keep-awake session and configure what should happen or not happen. Click “more” in the App Store description and it gives some instructions: [image]

Otherwise, simply google for “amphetamine app” and you will find articles with description

What else can I do to configure and run Amphetamine. Symptom is nothing happens, like the app is not started. Thoughts?

It doesn’t appear in your menubar, as per my previous screen grab? The reason I ask is in case you’re expecting some sort of window to open, which won’t happen.

I got the app to run. It now appears in menu bar. Shouldn’t Roon have keeping the app awake a basic function? To me it should be.

Good news that you have got amphetamine to run. On your second point, I’m not sure in my use scenario that I would want anything other than manual intervention, but I guess that’s the perennial difficulty, we all would like variations.

Shouldn’t Roon have keeping the app awake a basic function? To me it should be.

Roon will keep your system awake while it’s playing music, but when it’s idle it allows the system to sleep unless you have it set up to not allow sleep, as discussed above.
