Hide or erase a track

Hello,

How can I erase or hide a track I don’t want to play?

In my “physical” library, it’s easy: delete

If the disc is imported from Qobuz, the entire disc is erased. I can’t choose a particular track to hide or erase.

You have a number of options.

1. You can delete a track in Roon and this will delete the physical copy from your library or remove it from Qobuz.
2. Hide a track does not delete the file; it won’t be shown on the album view and will be skipped when the album is queued. You can unhide hidden tracks from the general settings screen.
3. Ban the track; the track is visible but won’t be played.

For #1 and #2, select the track (two-fingered click, right-click), click on the ellipsis, and Edit. There you will find options to hide or delete the track(s).

For #3, click on the heart next to the track twice to show the ⊘ symbol.

Click on the hollow “Heart” just to the left of the track’s time length until you see the circle with a slash in it. That track will never play unless you specifically select it to play.
