HiFiBerry DAC2 HD /Pi4 will not show in Roon once hostname changes

I’ve pushed another update to the beta channel.
Your unit will report about an ‘update available’ somewhere in the next minutes.

Awesome - I can now see the DAC in both ‘About’ and ‘Audio’. Should I also try this with XL or wait until the stable release comes out? thanks a lot, simon

Well, if you stay on beta it does not make a difference.
In other words: if you update to XL right now it will just work, as long as you stay on beta.

Thanks for posting an update to the beta channel. I was suffering the same problem with my HiFiBerry DAC 2 HD. The beta update seems to have solved it and I can see my DAC 2 HD in Roon again.

Ok nice. I’ll release to stable shortly.

You can switch back to the stable channel now (if you want), nothing will happen until the next release.
