Even with “show hidden devices” enabled and checking all the categories in the device manager there are no entries for these two DACs. I found a third one, though, which is interestingly not shown in Roon.
Checking regedit, this seems to be the place where the entries are located:
Similar situation to original post, but not exactly the same. I recently tried to make a grouped, stereo pair thru the Denon head app (home 150 speakers). The devices all have the latest software and the instructions are very simple, however it never worked (will call their tech support). Ha I said all that, in the testi created a bunch of new speakers in the heos app (“test”, “test2”, “right”, “left”, etc). None of those devices remain actual devices in the heos app, yet remain in roon. Most of it is garbage, so just from a cleanliness and management standpoint, would love to remove all the fake devices that no longer exist.
Theres a shortcut also, but i take no responsibility for it:
Look in your Roon Server folder(or maybe its the RAAT folder), there’s a Devices-folder in it. Withing that one there are multiple items named like GUIDs, 3EF12635AD37123
Each of these represent an audio device on that machine, and they can of course be removed.
This is getting ridiculous, my home HVAC system just attached itself as an available network device I’m sure my dishwasher and washing machine will get jealous next and also fill my screen w/ their junk…

I have tried everything, but the iBasso drivers will not go away:
In the English-language version of Device Manager, the third menu is called “View”. I assume that’s the same as Ansicht. In English, there’s an option in that menu called “Show hidden devices”.
Try that

The PIC above is in “show hidden devices”. But there are nothing. Only JDS Labs
I was hoping that wasn’t the case and you just weren’t aware of that menu option.
It looks to me like something was left behind and if you can’t find anything in Add/Remove Programs or in Device Manager, you might not be able to remove it. Such is life with Windows. If it’s not causing any problems, you might just need to ignore it.

The strange thing it is only under Roon. It don’t show up anywhere else
IIRC Roon can retain the name of a detached USB DAC even after it’s been disconnected and reconnected. This is because Roon identifies audio devices based on their unique identifiers, which are often tied to the device’s name and model information stored in the system’s audio configuration. When the DAC is reconnected, Roon can recognise it by these identifiers and recall its previously assigned name.

ASIO drivers can remain even if the device has been uninstalled. It’s worth having a look at your Installed Apps and see if there are any iBasso drivers that you can uninstall.
I would exit Roon, hook up the device, Device Manager should add it back. Go to Device Manager and uninstall the device and drivers, disconnect and then reboot.
