How do I install Roon Server 1.8 on Linux

I’m moving to a Linux roon server in the hope of ironing out some recent issues on an old-ish macbook.

I’ve installed Server 2.0 no problem on Ubuntu but want to install 1.8 to maintain compatibility with other devices. My server is running on an Macbook i7 x86_64.

Where would I find the installer for RoonServer 1.8 on Ubuntu?

Is it just me or does the download link to the linux build not work?

Hi Holger, the legacy installer uses the same url to download the Linux binaries of Roon Server Legacy as the easy installer script for a generic linux install. It seems this file does not exist anymore on the roonlabs webspace: https://download.roonlabs.net/builds/production1x/RoonServerLegacy_linuxx64.tar.bz2 maybe @support can take a look and check on their end what happened to Roon Server Legacy for linux on their webspace?

Note: Needs fixing by Roon Labs but no reaction so far (in the other thread).
