How do you find the url for a radio station in tunein?

Radio link provided by TuneIn may or may not work. radio station sometimes hide stream url inside their javascript and provide completely different url. Sometimes they provide URL in Support section on their website.

There are two ways to find stream url.

  1. Open radio station website containing play button in Chrome browser. Right click and select View Page Source. This would display html code. Search text for keywords: stream, mp3, aac, hhs, mp4, m4a
  2. Buy software that is capable of identifying radio url (Applian Replay Media Catcher) that monitors network traffic. Once it records radio stream, you can see url in recorded file’s properties inside the application. Copy/paste URL to Roon
