How does Roon choose Tidal album version for "Show album on TIDAL"?

For example: Almost Alice.

I’ve added most of the tracks from the standard version of the “inspired by” album to my Roon & Tidal Libraries. Today, I wanted to hear some of the other tracks from the album – those that I did not explicitly add in either Tidal or Roon. When I clicked the “Other Versions” button and chose “Show album on TIDAL”, Roon did not access the album version from which my saved/starred tracks came; instead it accessed the deluxe version. Why is that a problem? Observe:

I suppose I could just add the standard version album (not just my favorite tracks) to my Roon/Tidal Libraries, but that doesn’t work for me. I try to keep my Tidal list of favorite albums to actually just my favorites! I use the “Other Versions” button in Roon to access the full album on Tidal when I only have certain tracks saved to my libraries. On more than one occasion, Roon has brought up the wrong version, which is a problem.

Bump.

This is becoming even more of a problem now that Tidal has MQA albums, and 1.3 hasn’t made things any better.

Here’s what happens: I mark tracks from a Tidal MQA album as favorites, and they show up as they should in my Roon library. When I play those tracks from within Roon through my Meridian DAC, they play with all the MQA goodness that the DAC can deliver. But when I click on the Other Versions button and select “Show Album in Tidal”, Roon does not connect me to the MQA version of the album (which is the album version that is in my Roon library). Instead, Roon shows me a different version of the same album. Why? How does Roon decide which Tidal album version is shown to the user when the Other Versions button is pressed?

I guess one could make a case for the program logic pointing to a different version on Tidal than the one that is already in the Roon library based on the fact that the button is labeled “Other” Versions, but is that the most useful logic?
