Hi i got a blusond node n130 that’s connected to my tv thru hdmi. How can I get the Tv sound through roon so I get the sound with the equalizer in roon?
I have tinnitus and hyperacusis that’s creating problems i higher register from 10-12khz
You cannot get external sources into Roon as it stands it only supports its own internal streams. There are some ways using community extensions but none work with HDMI ARC and the delay would be far too much to be workable. Sounds like you really need to get an AVR that has DSP abilities.
If I use optical, will it be able to use roon then?
No, it’s the same issue ad what @Simon_Arnold3 noted. Roon cannot accept external inputs or streams from other sources excpt Qobuz, Tidal, KKBOX, local files, and streaming radio services.
